Tour de France 2014: Overall standings entering Stage 17

The 2014 Tour de France rolls on Wednesday morning with Stage 17, after a day off from competition.

Vincenzo Nibali of Italy has been able to retain the yellow jacket since early in the race, and he will be looking to hold off Spain’s Alejandro Valverde, who sits just over 4:30 minutes behind the lead, entering today’s stage.

Tejay van Garderen  of the United States currently sits in xith-place nearly ten minutes behind the lead.

Today’s action will begin in Saint-Gaudens and it will come to end in Saint-Lary Pla d’Adet.

It will be a full morning of action on the 124.5 km mountain stage, so be sure to tune in to NBC Sports Live Extra for live coverage of the leg.
