Tomorrow morning – or tonight depending on how you look at it – one of the world’s most storied heroes will come crashing back onto the big screen with the release of Hercules.
We all know that Hercules battles some of the world’s most epic and mythical monsters in the new film.
In fact, on Tuesday fans got a look at a clip from the film that shows Hercules facing off with a Lion that was easily five times his size.
Now, we have a look at a brief new clip from the upcoming adventure that shows the epic hero facing off with a rather large and rather angry looking Hydra.
In the clip, Hercules is attempting to use his stealth skills, which is kind of difficult when you are in the water, to traverse the area in search of the epic monster when he is suddenly dragged under water. Emerging first from the blackened depths is the three headed monster itself.
Will Hercules be able to fend off this giant monster by himself? Well, he is the hero after all.
Here is a look at the latest clip from the upcoming action-packed adventure Hercules.
Hercules is being directed by Brett Ratner, who is also set to direct the upcoming Beverly Hills Cop sequel coming in 2016.
The screenplay for the film is being penned by relatively new screenwriter Ryan Condal and screenwriter Evan Spiliotopoulos, who has done countless works for Walt Disney like Lion King 1 ½ and Pooh’s Heffalump Movie.
The film stars Dwayne Johnson as Hercules himself. Joining him is Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides actor Ian McShane. The film also stars John Hurt, Joseph Fiennes, Rufus Sewell, Irina Shayk, and many more.
Hercules is scheduled to be released in RealD 3D, IMAX 3D, and Conventional Theaters on July 25, 2014.
