New York Giants news: Rashad Jennings listed as no. 1 RB heading into camp
By Jack Crosby
The New York Giants have wealth at the running back position, so to speak, but only one can enter training camp as the starter. Well according to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News, that man will be Rashad Jennings.
Of course, while this is the official depth chart, it doesn’t carry as much weight as the Giants’ depth chart in the past at this position had.

It’s been no well-kept secret that new offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo is aiming for a complete overhaul of the Giants’ offensive system, especially after the abysmal year they had last season.
Well a big part of that overhaul recently, it’s been said, is the implementation of a three running back rotation between Jennings, Wilson and Williams.
That seems to be the only part about this release on Thursday that’s intriguing. Rookie Andre Williams was said to be a part of the three-headed monster, but he’s listed fourth, behind Peyton Hillis.
Although, as camp plays out and Williams starts to prove his worth, this order could certainly change and he could be right in there ready to contribute to this team during his first season in the NFL.
