The team known for circling the wagons would love to finally make a stop.

It’s been way too long since we have seen the Buffalo Bills in the NFL playoffs. The season was 1999 and the game was a 22-16 loss to the Tennessee Titans in Nashville, also known as the “Music City Miracle.”

That was far too long but not in a galaxy far, far away. And seemingly for the first time in more than a decade, there’s more excitement surrounding the football team than the chicken wing industry in the city of Buffalo.

Sprinkle in a little defensive improvement by the club and instead of talking about the Bills playing a little extra football in August (via the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game), we could extend that conversation into January.

This is the ninth part of a 32-team series in which we’ll look at the “if, and & but’s” of each team’s chances to make the postseason.

That’s because Buffalo will (finally) reach the playoffs for the first time since 1999…
