NFL Rumors: Ray Rice may only receive two-game suspension
By Jack Crosby
People have long been waiting to see what sort of punishment Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice may receive from the NFL after he was caught on tape dragging his fiance out of a hotel elevator, although they may not be happy with what’s handed down. According to reports early Thursday morning, Rice will only receive a two-game suspension.
Again, there are a lot of people that are not going to be happy with this.

While Rice did not face any criminal charges for the incident, it was still all caught on camera, and clearly Rice was involved in some heavy domestic wrongdoing throughout it all.
While arguing just a two-game suspension, should this end up being the case, folks will point toward the hefty suspensions that other players face for the use of substances like Adderrall, citing that it all doesn’t even out in the end.
Rice did appear before the media a few months ago with his wife and gave one of the worst press conferences maybe of all time. During the meeting with the media, his wife apologized for her role in the incident, which raised everyone’s eyebrows at the time.
There’s a chance that the punishment could be heftier, but all signs Thursday morning are pointing toward just a two-game absence for the star back.
