The Seattle Seahawks are finalizing their training camp roster and they have added another name to the wide receiver depth chart following the retirement of Sidney Rice.

After agreeing to terms with 6-foot-4 wide receiver Morrell Presley and releasing second-year offensive guard Jared Smith and rookie tight end Chase Dixon, the Seahawks have reportedly signed David Gilreath.

Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports passed along the news, which initially came from Gilreath’s agent.

Gilreath entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin in 2011.

Throughout his time in the league, Gilreath has bounced around from team-to-team. Gilreath has had stints with the Indianapolis Colts, St. Louis Rams, Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers (twice), Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders.

Gilreath will now try to stick with the Seahawks.

While the Seahawks could be looking to add size after losing Rice, Gilreath stands just 5-foot-9.

However, he has shown during multiple preseason appearances that he has the ability to make plays in open space and he can bring added value on special teams.
