Nick Diaz may have the biggest following of any fighter in all of MMA, and if not the most, he is certainly up there with the best of them. When Diaz signed his new three-fight deal with the UFC, he was trending worldwide on Twitter just moments later.
As they say in the combat sports world, Nick Diaz is a needle mover. Anytime Diaz is on a fight card, it is guaranteed to do great numbers on pay-per-view as well as viewership.
Now the question is, who will Diaz face in his return from retirement? Many believe that it will be Anderson Silva, but the former UFC middleweight champion has stated time and again that he has no plans to return until 2015.
Hopefully Diaz will come back before the end of the calendar year, and Hector Lombard wants to welcome him back to the Octagon:

If in fact this fight does go down, a win for Diaz could potentially mean a title shot or No. 1 contender fight in early 2015.
