The Buffalo Bills have been in training camp for about a week now, but they apparently have seen most of what they needed to. Actually, they’ve seen enough to release the first depth chart of the 2014 NFL season.

On Monday evening, the team announced the depth chart on their twitter account.

First off, it’s no surprise that Sammy Watkins has been given the starting nod at wide receiver. Since camp began, he has done nothing but turn the heads of everyone watching, justifying the team’s move back at the draft in May to get up to the front to grab him. Across from Watkins will be Robert Woods, pretty much confirming the rumors that Mike Williams has not performed well.

What also stands out on the list is not the fact that C.J. Spiller is listed as the starter in the backfield, but that Bryce Brown is so far down the list. However, after trading with the Eagles to land Brown, that will surely change as time goes on. With Fred Jackson getting up there in age, Brown will see a good amount of reps on the field as the season goes on.
