Pokemon launches new site for video game, TCG world championships

You may not be quite a good enough Pokemon trainer to take on the world’s best in either video games or the trading card game (TCG), but at least you’ll be able to watch and learn from the top players in the world next month.

The Pokemon Company International announced a new website that will allow fans to follow all of the action from the 2014 World Championships live as it happens from Washington D.C. on August 16-17. Both the video game and TCG matches will also be streamed live on Twitch and right here on FanSided.com.

The World Championships will see video game and TCG players from more than 30 countries gather to battle it out not just for bragging rights, but also to win scholarships, prizes and the prestige that comes with being named Pokemon World Champion.
