Tyree St. Louis, Brendan Loftus commit to Miami: Hurricanes land two 3-Star OTs
The Miami Hurricanes have been improving on the recruiting trail in recent years under head coach Al Golden and in the class of 2015, they have clearly made stocking up on offensive lineman a priority.

The Hurricanes entered the day with commitments from four offensive lineman – 3-Star offensive guard Leeward Brown (Miramar High School in Hollywood, Florida), 3-Star offensive tackle Hayden Mahoney (Malvern Prep in Malvern, Pennsylvania), 3-Star offensive tackle Tyler Gauthier (Venice High School in Venice, Florida) and 3-Star offensive guard Geron Christian (Trinity Catholic High School in Ocala, Florida).
On Tuesday, they added two more when 3-Star offensive tackle Tyree St. Louis and 3-Star offensive tackle Brendan Loftus gave their pledges to the Hurricanes.
The 6’6, 300-pound St. Louis attends the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He is ranked as the country’s 36th-best offensive tackle prospect, the 46th-best overall prospect in the state of Florida and the 337th-best overall prospect in the class of 2015 according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings. St. Louis also holds offers from the Cincinnati Bearcats, Florida Gators, Missouri Tigers, Nebraska Cornhuskers and South Carolina Gamecocks, among others.
The 6’6, 275-pounder is a Tallahassee, Florida product, attending Amos P. Godby High School. He is ranked as the country’s 115th-best offensive tackle prospect, the 150th-best overall prospect in the state of Florida and the 1,074th-best overall prospect in the class of 2015 according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings. He holds offers from the Bearcats, East Carolina Pirates, Syracuse Orange and Wisconsin Badgers, among others.
The Hurricanes now have 22 verbal commitments in the class of 2015 and their class ranks ninth nationally.
