Mexico soccer player kicks opponent in head during brawl (Video)

Every now and then in sports, there is an ugly incident that occurs when tempers run over and players are unable to keep their emotions in check. That is exactly what happened when Mexico and Northern Ireland squared off in their Milk Cup Elite match on Wednesday.

A brawl between the two sides broke out at the end of the game that resulted in four players being sent off.

Raul Monala Gudino, Carlos Arreola and Kevin Gutierrez of Mexico received their red cards for incident, and Northern Ireland’s  Robbie McDaid was also sent off by referee Tim Marshall.

There were two separate brawls.

Video surfaced online of one of the scuffles from the end of the match that shows a Mexican player being thrown to the turf.

After the shoving match began, he circled back around and kicked the opponent who had thrown him to the ground in the head.

It was an ugly scene and one that you never want to see in any sport.
