Earlier in the off-season, we took a deep dive into the top five point guards in the NBA, but today, it is time to evaluate the best shooting guards in the league, which happens to be a much more difficult task. Why is it more difficult? Well, there is a fundamental issue at the off-guard spot.

We have a shooting guard epidemic.

Of course, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t players who can positively affect the game from the position, but gone are the days when Michael Jordan and Clyde Drexler (among others) roamed on the perimeter, and the league has transitioned from being dominated by shooting guards to a mix of point guards and do-everything forwards in the mold of LeBron James and Kevin Durant.

No matter the difficulty, though, there is a list to be compiled, and without further ado, here is a look at the best shooting guards on the planet.
