The UFC is always looking for ways to stay ahead of the curve in the mixed martial arts community. Whether that is busting out new promos every week, putting together exclusive content on UFC Fight Pass, or announcing major news on Twitter, the UFC continues to expand their presence in the sports world.
Today, the UFC unveiled the “UFC Minute”; a new 60-90 second segment hosted by Lisa Foiles discussing the latest news and events surrounding the UFC. Here is a description of the new segment from the UFC:
Welcome to the first installment of the UFC Minute! Host Lisa Foiles reviews some of the UFC’s biggest stories and looks ahead at what is in store for the rest of the day.
Below you can watch the first episode of the “UFC Minute” which touches upon the most recent UFC event, UFC on FOX 12, as well as the major news that Anderson Silva will be fighting Nick Diaz at UFC 183 on Super Bowl weekend.
Over the next month we will find out whether or not the UFC truly plans to produce an episode every day, or if the program becomes a more intermittent type deal. There is also no word as to whether or not the show will come up exclusively on Fight Pass, or will be available on the UFC website.
