Marshawn Lynch ends 8-day holdout, reporting to Seahawks
Marshawn Lynch is holding his holdout from the Seattle Seahawks training camp and is expected to report after an eight-day holdout within the next 24 hours, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Adam Caplan.
Lynch had been seeking a new deal and guaranteed money after being one of the top running backs in the NFL during his three-year tenure with the Super Bowl champions, but according to Schefter, Lynch is not getting a new deal.
The financial concessions very well could be waiving the reported more than $400,000 he was subject to for missing the first week of training camp. With no new deal in place, one has to wonder if the holdout accomplished anything.

In Lynch’s absence, the Seahawks talked up the play of Christine Michael and Robert Turbin, but with Lynch reporting to camp, Beast Mode will be in full force once again this season, albeit we could see a few more carries per game from Michael in particular in an effort to keep Lynch fresh for the postseason and also to see what they have in the former Texas A&M runner.
Lynch rushed for 1,257 yards last season and led the NFL with 12 rushing touchdowns.
