Bry’Keithon Mouton commits to LSU: Tigers net 3-star tight end
Bry’Keithon Mouton (Lafayette, La. Acadiana) was supposed to announce on Monday where he will be playing college football for the next four years, but apparently he was too excited and couldn’t wait through the weekend to announce he is committing to LSU.

The news was first reported by Varsity Preps Director of Scouting Demetric Warren who tweeted the news of the commitment on Friday evening. Monday’s scheduled announcement was supposed to see the 6-1, 230-pound tight end choose between LSU, Ole Miss, Alabama and Miami.
Mouton is the nation’s No. 651 recruit overall regardless of position, No. 19 tight end and the No. 36 recruit in the always talent-rich state of Louisiana, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
The addition of Mouton is technically the second at the tight end position, joining three-star recruit Hanner Shipley (Marble Falls, Texas. Marble Falls) but at 283 pounds is likely to be an offensive tackle with the Tigers.
Therefore, Mouton is the first true tight end prospect who should be a fun toy for offensive coordinator Cam Cameron to move around the line and find mismatches for the pass-catcher who should be a nice fit as an H-back.
Mouton had 21 receptions for 291 yards and seven touchdowns last season as a junior.
With the addition of Mouton, LSU now has 15 commitments in Les Miles’ 2015 class and owns the nation’s No. 11 class , up two spots, and the No. 6 class in the SEC which features eight member schools in the top 14 of the 247Sports team rankings, including four in the top five.
