The wait is almost over. The final DLC for Call of Duty: Ghosts is set to arrive on Tuesday for X-Box 360 and X-Box One users. Other platforms will still have to wait another month before they can finish the final chapter of Extinction. While there are still a few days left to play the game there is finally a trailer that shows us the scope of what the development team have been working on.
Maps of course are the most anticipated of any DLC for most games and Infinity Ward is giving fans of the game four more maps to play. Nemesis will be the fourth and final DLC from the franchise. The new maps? Dynasty, Showtime, Goldrush, and Sub-Zero.
The Goldrush map will take you inside and outside of an abandoned but still operational gold mine. Two working mine cars can be used for transport and can be used to run over your enemies upping your kill count. Dynasty takes place in an lakeside Chinese village. Infinity Ward calls it the most detailed map they have ever made. Subzero is a map that takes you to an abandoned Russian submarine where you can call in a blizzard as a kill streak reward. Finally, Showtime is the smallest map and a remake pitting teams against each other in a closed off “death arena”.
Lacking from the trailer however was any word on the fourth and final “character” that players can become with achieved kill streaks. In the first DLC players could become Michael Meyers, in the 2nd DLC they could become the Predator. In DLC three they could become Robert Rodriquez’ “El Mariachi”. Take a look at the trailer below and see what you might find.
The last chapter in the four-part series of Extinction will also be available. Exodus will wrap the story, maybe, and give fans that final episode.
