The updated Vision A.I. system is one of the benefits that moving to the next-generation consoles presents to the development team at EA Canada.

“An elevated level of player intelligence, Vision A.I.features evolved awareness with players reading and reacting to potential plays,”  the post says.

Players will have the ability to react based on the puck’s positioning, and it’s projected positioning. The players on the ice will always look to be in the right position in all three zones of the ice, depending on what their specific role is on the team.

As usual, players can change their team’s strategy instantly with the use of the directional pad on the control. New strategies include Quick and Controlled Breakouts that EA Sports says gives players “dozens” of options while carrying the puck up the ice.

While in the offensive zone, A.I. players will always be moving to find the open area of the ice to try and set up the best scoring chance possible.

NHL 15 releases on September 9 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. A Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version of the game will also be released that same day.

Mike’s Musings: I just want EA Sports to release on-ice gameplay footage for NHL 15. Enough of the screenshots and footage taken from the replay mode of the game. Give me live-action footage. I’m getting anxious!
