The basketball world was turned upside down on Friday night when Indiana Pacers star Paul George went down with one of the more gruesome leg injuries that we have seen in quite some time out in Las Vegas, breaking both his tibia and fibula. The injury, suffered in a Team USA exhibition out in Las Vegas, will keep George out for the entirety of next year’s NBA season.

Since the injury, the outpouring of support for one of the brightest young stars in the NBA has been tremendous, and it hit even closer to home on Saturday as George received a visit from his coach on the USA team, Mike Kzryzewski.
And it’s one of the more touching photos that you will see.
Coach K is notorious for caring very much about all of his players, and that’s not just at Duke. Since taking over as the head coach of Team USA, he has built strong relationships with some of the best players in the NBA, and he was very much a fan of George, as well as coaching him.
Everyone is wishing for the speediest of recoveries for George throughout this whole process, and you can bet that Coach K will be there along with him as much as he possibly can be.
