On Sunday afternoon, there was a frightening scene at the Atlanta Falcons practice. Falcons offensive lineman Terren Jones was carted off of the field, before ultimately being loaded into an ambulance and being taken away.

There is no official word on the injury that Jones suffered, but he was reportedly taken away in a neck brace.

According to Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com, Jones was not moving and his eyes were closed.

Jones was a member of the Falcons’ practice squad a season ago, after joining the league as an undrafted free agent out of Alabama State.

We will have to wait for an official update from the Atlanta Falcons before receiving an official update on Jones’ status, but everyone will be hoping for the best.

Our thoughts go out to Jones as he hopefully makes a full and speedy recovery.
