It is also home to 5-star cornerback Kevin Toliver II, an LSU Tigers’ commitment, 4-star linebacker Jefferey Holland, who will have his pick of schools, 4-Star defensive tackle Kenderick North, a former Florida State Seminoles’ commitment, 4-star Safety Ben Edwards and 3-star cornerback Victor Alexander, who has pledged to the UCLA Bruins.
It is pretty obvious Edwards has trouble making up his mind.
Six months ago, Edwards gave Urban Meyer’s Ohio State Buckeyes his pledge.
Then, just two months later, Edwards decided to flip his commitment from the Buckeyes to the SEC Champion Auburn Tigers.
Now, he has decommitted from the Tigers as well, announcing his decision via twitter.
Edwards, however, say the Tigers are still in the mix, telling Keith Niebuhr of 24/7 Sports he will decide between the Tigers, Buckeyes, Stanford Cardinal and UCLA Bruins.
Edwards is ranked as the country’s 18th-best safety prospect, the 41st-best overall prospect from the state of Florida and the 296th-best overall prospect in the class of 2016 according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
Although the Tigers would love to get Edwards back in the fold, they should be fine without him. The Tigers still have 18 commitments, including 4-Star safety Jordan Colbert. They currently have the fifth-ranked recruiting class in the country.
