Chris Carson commits to Georgia: Bulldogs land 3-Star JUCO RB
With perhaps the country’s best running back, Todd Gurley, and another big-time back, Keith Marshall, returning for their junior seasons, the Georgia Bulldogs are in good hands at the position. However, after the season, Gurley will almost surely to enter the 2015 NFL Draft and there is a chance Marshall will do the same.

That’s why the Bulldogs offered 3-Star junior college Chris Carson on Thursday. It didn’t take long for Carson to make a decision – he committed to the Bulldogs on Sunday.
“I liked it a lot, they answered a lot of questions I had,” Carson said via Rusty Mansell of 24/7 Sports.”I enjoyed myself. Me, my Mom, Dad, and little brother went. My parents liked the academic part of it, my Mom was sold on it then.”
Carson has wanted to be at Georgia for some time.
“I thought they were going to offer me in high school, but I had to go to junior college, “ he said.”They came by and saw me back in spring time, we have been talking for a while. I was expected them to offer me, coach (Bryan) McClendon told he wanted too.
The 6’1, 200-pounder plays for Butler Community College in Kansas but is originally from Lilburn, Georgia and attended Parkview High School. Carson is ranked as the country’s sixth-best junior college running back, the 11th-best prospect in the state of Kansas and the 66th-best overall junior college prospect in the class of 2015 according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
Carson also has offers from the Cincinnati Bearcats, Colorado State Rams and Iowa State Cyclones, among others.
Carson is the Bulldogs’ 16th commitment in the class of 2015.
