As everyone more or less knows by now, Detroit Tigers ace Justin Verlander and supermodel Kate Upton are a bit of an item. They’ve been on and off a few times here and there, but hey, young love is crazy, you guys. Well nowadays, they’re definitely on with one another, and that fact was no more evident than it was on Monday night during the Tiger’s game in New York against the Yankees.

Monday night, in between innings, Verlander took it upon himself to show Upton just how much into her she is by pulling off the most romantic gesture that a ball player can.
He tossed her a ball. Aww.
There are millions of men all around the world that are infatuated with Upton, and therefore more than likely hate Verlander for the fact that he gets to court her like this. But hey, if they can throw a ball from the pitcher’s mound to home the way Verlander can, then maybe they wouldn’t have that issue.
With the Tigers on the verge of what could be a solid run in the MLB playoffs coming up in two months, especially since they acquired Verlander some help in the form of David Price, we could be in store for a picture of Upton and Verlander standing with a World Series trophy by the time the year’s over.
