Patrick Allen commits to Georgia: Bulldogs land 4-Star OT
The Georgia Bulldogs are putting together another fine recruiting class in 2015. They entered Monday with 16 verbal commitments including two from offensive tackles, 3-Star junior college prospect DeVondre Seymour (Hinds C.C. (Raymond, MS)) and 3-Star Sage Hardin (Marist School (Atlanta, GA)). On Monday, they added their 17th commitment and third offensive tackle when 4-Star Patrick Allen gave his pledge to the Bulldogs.

“I’ve just been thinking about Georgia a lot,” Allen said via Jake Rowe of 24/7 Sports. “It has been on my heart and on my mind so I thought I should go ahead and do it. It felt right.”
The 6’5, 286-pounder is from Reisterstown, Maryland and attends Franklin High School. He is ranked as the country’s 24th-best offensive tackle prospect, the fifth-ranked overall prospect in the state of Maryland and the 238th-best overall prospect in the class of 2015 according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
Allen camped at Georgia back in June and really enjoyed his time there.
“I just felt so comfortable at Georgia,” he said. “It felt like home. It was a great visit. Just the coaches and the facilities and everything were great. It was perfect. I loved it.”
Allen holds offers from nearly every big program and although he claims he is a firm commitment to Georgia, he will still visit the Arkansas Razorbacks, Michigan Wolverines, Oklahoma Sooners and Tennessee Volunteers.
The Bulldogs now have the country’s ninth-ranked recruiting and the sixth-ranked class in the SEC. The class is headlined by 5-Star athlete Terry Godwin (Callaway (Hogansville, GA)).
