The 2015 recruiting class for head coach Jimbo Fisher and the Florida State Seminoles got that much better on Tuesday with the news that four-star wide receiver Auden Tate has committed to Tallahassee, as many expected.

At last glance of the 247 Sports Crystal Ball predictions, he was 90% to Florida State, so again, this was something that many have seen coming for the past few days.

Tate, out of Tampa, Florida, also held offers from the Florida Gators, Michigan Wolverines, Miami Hurricanes and South Carolina Gamecocks, among others. But in the end, ultimately he feels that Florida State gives him the best chance to succeed and utilize his talents in the future.

After taking eight unofficial visits this summer, Tate felt confident enough to make his decision public on Tuesday, seeing all he needed to see from some of the best programs in the country.

As for Florida State’s 2015 recruiting class, Tate now becomes the 18th commitment in a group that is already ranked no. 8 in the country according to 247. Since taking over as the head man in Tallahassee, Jimbo Fisher has done nothing but clean up on the recruiting trail, and this year has been no different.

We’ve seen the past few seasons that the Seminoles are getting back to their dynamic ways on offense, which helped them win their first national championship since 1999 last season.

Now Tate will be the next part of that movement.
