But while everyone else will be focusing on the injury from that point of view, the team will be looking at it as motivation to win.
As passed along by Marc J. Spears from Yahoo! Sports, Coach K believes that Team USA will arrive in Spain ready to win the World Cup not just for themselves but for what Paul George has sacrificed in the process.
The injury to George was just brutal and it seems like it was all for nothing. In the end, it’s just for a trophy but the competitive bond and the team chemistry that Team USA has will make a World Cup win this season mean so much more than one ever has in the past.
