Kylie Fitts leaving UCLA Bruins for personal reasons

The UCLA Bruins and former four-star defensive end Kylie Fitts have announced that he will be leaving the team. Fitts, who played in four games as a true freshman, claims that the move is not because of a lack of playing time, but for personal reasons.

UCLA head coach Jim Mora Jr. wished Fitts the best of luck in his future endeavors, but did express disappointment in the decision that delivers a blow to the defensive line depth that the Bruins had not expected.

“It’s his decision,” Mora said, via InsideSoCal.com. “We wish him the best in wherever he goes and does after this. We’re just going to march on.

“I would not say I’m disappointed in Kylie. I’m disappointed because I like Kylie an awful lot. But I’m not disappointed in Kylie. He has different goals right now. I just wish the best for him.”
