Vin Scully hilariously makes fun of an umpire getting hit in the groin with foul ball (Video)

When the Los Angeles Dodgers announced last week that legendary announcer Vin Scully would be coming back for yet another season of his illustrious career last week, every baseball fan throughout the world rejoiced. On Monday night in the Dodgers’ game with the Angels, we were reminded just why having Scully around is such a treasure.

See while we love having Scully around to listen to for his extensive baseball knowledge, he’s always good for a joke or two. And on Monday night he may have topped himself by cracking one at the expense of an unfortunate experience for the umpire of the game.

Again, is it the greatest thing that Scully has ever done in his career? No, but it’s definitely a nice addition to the long list of memorable moments that Scully has provided throughout his career as the voice of one of the more well known baseball teams in the history of the sport.
