Jon Bon Jovi advised to pull out of Buffalo Bills bidding process
By Cory Buck
Jon Bon Jovi’s dream of owning an NFL team may have to find a new target. More and more, it appears his bid to own the Buffalo Bills is circling the drain — so much so that those closest to him are reportedly advising him to cut his losses and walk away while there’s still time to save face for another day — or in his case, another team.

Tim Graham from the Buffalo News writes that Terry Pegula has pulled so far ahead of the competition in the bidding process that Bon Jovi is hardly a threat anymore unless he can somehow scratch up another half billion dollars or so from between the couch cushions.
"Sources close to the rock star and his Toronto-based partners told The News that some of Bon Jovi’s influential NFL allies have suggested he walk away from the sale because the process has trampled his reputation."
So he’s done, right? No more Bon Jovi? No more terrible jokes that use Bon Jovi lyrics?
Well, not quite.
"But another line of thinking is that pulling out would be a bad look, too, and that Bon Jovi wants to see the process through."
So basically Bon Jovi has become the guy who texts a girl one week after her last correspondence and says, “Hey, how you been?” In this case, that text came in the form of a letter to Buffalo.
We’ve been all right, Bon Jovi, but the answer is still no.
Despite warnings from all over, Bon Jovi and the ‘Toronto group’ are still expected to submit an amended bid that is supposedly higher on money and assurances that the Bills won’t leave Buffalo. What good it will do is still up in the air at this point.
