EA Sports has released a plethora of new details regarding the Connected Franchise Mode in Madden 15. A lot of the new details center around the team relocation option that many fans enjoyed from Madden 25.

With Madden 15, EA Sports has changed things up a bit when it comes to relocation. Though it won’t allow you to relocate to any city you want, the game does offer 17 cities to choose from, all of which feature unique logos and uniform designs.

Taking fan designs, as well as new internally created designs, relocated teams will no longer have the same exact uniform style. Instead, these different styles will be based on what future designs may look like, giving fans a possible glimpse into the future.

In addition to the look of the relocated teams, Madden 15 will also feature changes to the tuning of relocation. Unlike Madden 25, teams this year won’t be so inclined to move out of town. Instead, teams will more often than not build stadiums in their current city.

Players can also turn relocation on or off.

Madden 15 releases on August 26 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A version of the game will also be available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Mike’s Musings: We don’t know exactly what nicknames made the final cut for Madden 15, but hopefully they are a lot more creative than Madden 25 had. Also, I don’t know about you, but I wish a qualification for a team to be eligible for a relocated team is that they currently don’t have a team. Seriously, I don’t think moving a team to Chicago or Brooklyn is fun at all, but that’s just me.
