This one goes out to you, Aaron Rowand. And you, Sam Fuld. And you, Len Dykstra. And you, every other major league player known for placing their desire to make the play above their sense of self-preservation.

More from Chicago White Sox

OH HELL ADAM EATON ARE YOU GOING TO BE OKAY???

Actually, forget about Adam Eaton. Find out if the fence is going to be okay. That fence just got clobbered by a runaway Adam Eaton.

I checked Adam Eaton’s speed settings and I could only find one: full-throttle pedal-to-the-medal caution-to-the-wind damn-the-torpedoes who-cares-about-solid-objects-in-my-path.

Yes, there is something to be said for living to fight another day. But don’t tell that to Adam Eaton. For Adam Eaton, there ain’t no tomorrow.

There is only the baseball and his need to catch the baseball.

There is no fence in his way at all. Hey, are we sure this guy doesn’t need his eyes checked?

Nah, it’s not a vision problem for Adam Eaton. It’s a giving-a-f–k about anything else but the baseball problem. Bump Bailey would have been proud as hell.
