Here is your highlight from Darrelle Revis’ debut in a New England Patriots uniform. Revis giving it the old preseason yawn. Cause he didn’t get to play Thursday and had to spend the whole game hanging around on the sidelines, watching a preseason game. That’s enough to make anyone sleepy.

I don’t even know why they make vets like Revis and Tom Brady, who also did not play against Washington Thursday night, suit up and stand on the sidelines. It seems like more of a punishment than anything. I guess guys just like the feeling of suiting up and coming out with the team. It gets them jacked up for a second, like there’s a real game happening.
They get jacked up for a second, and then they realize, oh crap it’s a preseason game. I have to stand there for three fricking hours watching a bunch of guys I never heard of. At least Revis got to see Jimmy Garoppolo’s first NFL action. I’m sure that was a big thrill for him.
Come on Belichick, at least let the man have an iPad or something. Let him play solitaire or read a book. Can’t you see he’s falling asleep?
