Soccer fans, get ready to lose big chunks of your free time once again in your quest to become the world’s best manager.
Sports Interactive announced that Football Manager 2015, the latest in its series of obsessively addictive soccer management sims, would launch for PC, Mac and Linux this November. But you won’t have to wait that long to find out about the new features coming with it, as SI plans on revealing those (gradually, if past history is any guide) in October.
To sweeten the pot a bit, anyone who signs up for SI Insider, the studio’s reward and offer program, before the end of the English Premier League summer transfer window on September 1 will receive a code via email good for 10 percent off Football Manager 2015. In addition, anyone who pre-orders the game — which you can do right now — will get early access to a fully playable beta version available roughly two weeks prior to the full release.
Since careers started in the beta can be continued in the full release, you can have yourself at the head of Man U before other people have even downloaded the game. Or, if you’re like me, you can have yourself fired multiple times and be begging any club in any league to take a chance on your questionable coaching skills. Look for much more on Football Manager 2015 in the weeks to come.
