Nosovitch has not appeared in a game yet for South Carolina, but was praised recently by head coach Steve Spurrier for his athleticism. According to reports, the dual-threat quarterback was being buried on the depth chart and had slipped to fourth-string behind a redshirt freshman and walk-on sophomore.

Coming out of high school, Nosovitch was one of the best high school quarterbacks in Pennsylvania history. Nosovitch holds the Pennsylvania state record with 12,877 total yards. He’s also second all-time in the state in passing yards (9,249) and touchdown passes (106).

No school has been named as a transfer destination yet, but it could be that Nosovitch heads closer to home. A school like Temple or
