Gotham has quickly and almost effortlessly become one of the most anticipated series of the new fall season.
Yesterday, fans were able to take a closer look at one of the most sexy and dangerous villains to ever come out of Gotham City, the Queen herself, mob boss Fish Mooney.
Now, we have a look at a new TV Spot for the upcoming series that takes a walk on the dark side of Gotham with Detective James Gordon’s not so innocent partner Detective Harvey Bullock, who is played in the series by Sons of Anarchy actor Donal Logue.
In the clip, which you can see below, Logue talks about the way that they plan to approach the story and how it will be told. Detective Gordon will eventually be Commissioner, but for right now, he will have to settle for being a rookie detective who is investigating one of the most high profile cases Gotham City has ever seen; the death of Thomas and Martha Wayne.
What do the villains of Gotham City have in store for Detective Gordon? We’ll have to wait just a little while longer to find out for sure.
Until then, let’s take a look at the latest TV Spot for the upcoming action-packed series Gotham.
The Batman-inspired origin story is being directed by Danny Cannon. Cannon is no stranger to television as he has directed shows like The Tomorrow People, Nikita, and CSI. Gotham is being penned by Bruno Heller. Heller has penned shows like The Mentalist and Rome.
Of course, this is all based off of characters originally created by Bob Kane.
The series stars Ben McKenzie as the young Detective Gordon. Gotham also stars Sons of Anarchy star Donal Logue, Sara Paxton, Jada Pinkett Smith, Erin Richards, Sean Pertwee, David Mazouz, Camren Bicondova, Robin Taylor, and many more.
The series premiere of Gotham will debut on Monday, September 22nd at 8:00 p.m. on Fox.
