Although it can’t become official until August 23, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Minnesota Timberwolves have reportedly agreed to a deal to send star power forward Kevin Love from the Timberwolves to the Cavaliers.

More from Minnesota Timberwolves

The Cavaliers will be getting a future first round pick and the last two number one overall selections, forward Anthony Bennett (2013) and swingman Andrew Wiggins (2014). Wiggins is the reason the deal can’t become official – the Cavaliers have to wait 30 days from when he signed his rookie contract to deal him.

The Timberwolves are also trying to get several more deals done. They still would like to get a deal done to acquire Philadelphia 76ers’ forward Thaddeus Young but so far the asking price has been too high.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, the Timberwolves would still like to dump point guard J.J. Barea, forward Luc Mbah a Moute and point guard Alexey Shved. They’d hope the get rid of them in a Love deal but that hasn’t worked out.

According to David Pick of Euro Basket, ONE.co.il and Sportando, Shved, via his agent Obrad Fimic, is okay with being traded.

Shved averaged 4.0 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists while shooting 32.1% from the field, 29.4% from beyond the arc and 75.6% from the free throw line. The 25-year old Shved came to the NBA in prior to the 2012-2013 season and averaged 8.6 points, 3.7 assists and 2.4 rebounds per while shooting 37.2% from the floor, 29.5% from three and 72.0% from the charity stripe.
