Rams rookie Lamarcus Joyner rag dolls the Saints’ Nick Toon in NFL debut (GIF)

Back in the 2014 NFL Draft this past May, the St. Louis Rams drafted safety LaMarcus Joyner out of Florida State. At Florida State throughout his career, Joyner consistently showed that, while he’s a bit undersized, he’s one of the most aggressive football players on the field at all times. Well apparently, that hasn’t changed now that he’s in the NFL.

In his NFL debut on Friday night in the team’s game against the New Orleans Saints, Joyner showed that he is more than ready for the rigors of the NFL, and he’s also ready to dominate just like he did at the college ranks.
Watch in the video below as he just absolutely rag dolls Saints wide receiver Nick Toon after a catch in the first quarter.
Yep. It doesn’t look as if Joyner has missed a beat from anything that he did while he was a member of the Seminoles. He culminated his career last season in the best way possible by helping lead the ‘Noles to their first national title since 1999.
No doubt, the Rams could have someone special on the defensive side of the ball for them for the next few years to come in Joyner.
