The Buffalo Bills have high hopes for wide receiver Sammy Watkins. So high that they drafted him fourth overall in the 2014 draft out of Clemson University.

If preseason is any indication, he is already becoming one of quarterback E.J. Manuel’s favorite targets. He was targeted three times in the Hall of Fame game back on August 3rd, but failed to make a catch. He fared much better Friday night, hauling in three catches for 21 yards.
Watkins was at it again in practice on Sunday. He made a nice one-handed grab of a Manuel pass that an attendee caught on video for us to enjoy:
With hands like that, Watkins could be a huge addition for a young Buffalo team looking to compete in the AFC East.
If any of you watched him in college, you know what he is capable of. However, that does not always translate to NFL success. Just ask Mike Williams, Roy Williams, and Malcolm Kelly, to name a few.
There are several reasons that Watkins should not face the same fate as the aforementioned guys. He did not seem to be a product of a system at Clemson. It was he who often made quarterback Tajh Boyd look good, not the other way around.
Hands like this should translate to any level of professional football!
