Cowboys’ Jerry Jones: It’s not ‘inappropriate at all’ to hang out with NFL’s VP of officiating
By Mike Dyce
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has had a rough week. Between pictures of him with a girl that were a little inappropriate for a married man, let alone the owner of one of the world’s biggest sports franchises, there was the scandal involving the NFL’s vice president of officiating Dean Blandino hanging out on the Cowboy’s team bus.

This might come as a shock, but Jones doesn’t see anything wrong with what the Cowboys did.
“I just don’t have a problem with it at all and I don’t deem it inappropriate at all,” Jones said, via the Dallas Morning News. “Part of Blandino’s job during the offseason is to network with the clubs. That’s a good thing.
“Our officiating is doing a good job. I just don’t have a problem with that.
“As you know, our bus, we entertain, that’s what we do. I just don’t have a problem.”
The rest of the league might feel the same way if they were in the Cowboys’ position. However, if the Cowboys start getting some favorable calls, and then Blandino has an interesting ruling or one they don’t agree with, this could rear its head again.
Jones said the Cowboys entertain guests on their bus all the time and that this is just usual training camp stuff for him.
