Gamescom live stream 2014: Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare premiere

Gamescom 2014 unofficially gets underway on Monday with the world premiere of the new multiplayer making its way to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare from Sledgehammer games.

The revealing is expected to include all of the new features and details coming to the newest edition of the popular first-person shooter franchise. It’s unclear exactly what about the multiplayer mode will be revealed, but its likely that some new weapons as well as customization features will be a part of the Gamescom presentation.

The action gets underway at 1:00pm ET (10am PT), and you can watch it all unfold from Germany right here. A embedded version of the video will be posted when the event goes live.

Mike’s Musings: Call me crazy, but I’m just not excited for the Call of Duty franchise anymore. The gameplay has gotten extremely stale, and there is only so much you can do with a first-person shooter before it really becomes dry and boring. As someone who doesn’t like campaigns from first-person shooters, the multiplayer is what has to sell me. Unfortunately, I just don’t see this selling me.
