Nobody likes to see a player go down with injury, let alone a budding young star like Paul George of the Indiana Pacers. Those who watched the injury live during Team USA’s scrimmage knew that something horrible had happened and medical reports later confirmed such.

More from Indiana Pacers

Thankfully being a professional athlete does have its perks and one of such is the youthful exuberance to return to your former health. Add in the impressive medical technology both hospitals and professional sports franchises employ and there’s a strong likelihood Paul George will return to the MVP-like player he was before the injury.

Of course, there is going to be plenty of downtime in his road to recovery, so he might want to take a trip to his home arena considering there is plenty of reading material available for him.

Pointed out by a fan on Instagram, a banner now hangs at the entrance of Bankers Life Fieldhouse complete with hand-written messages, encouraging and supporting Paul George is his recovery.

While the picture doesn’t show any of the personal messages up-close, it does show how massive the banner is and just how many notes are written to George as fans do what they can to support their star player.

I have to say – that’s pretty damn cool on the part of the Indiana Pacers and their fans. Hopefully the team will remove the banner if there is any incoming weather so the All-Star forward can save the banner and keep it in pristine condition. I’d venture to guess he’d be thrilled to have this in his home-gym.
