Cowboys QB Tony Romo confirms he will play Saturday vs. Ravens
By Jack Crosby
After getting blown out in their preseason opener last weekend by the San Diego Chargers, the Dallas Cowboys will look to rebound by getting a win over the Baltimore Ravens this Saturday. However, unlike the loss to San Diego, this time they will begin the game with their starting quarterback, as Tony Romo has confirmed that he will be playing in the game.
This was something that was speculated pretty much all day on Tuesday, so much so that team owner Jerry Jones stated in a separate interview of his own that there’s a possibility Romo could play more than one series on Saturday, if he was going to go out there.

Well, he is, so now it will be interesting to see just how long they leave him out there in his first game back since offseason surgery to repair the herniated discs.
Jones stated that how many series Romo plays will all depend on how many snaps he takes, so should the Cowboys have a lengthy first drive to open up the game, there’s a chance that Romo could only end up playing one series.
