Foot Locker has rolled out a new ad campaign that shows professional athletes explaining to James Harden that it is important to have a short term memory. Charles Barkley summons over Scottie Pippen to demonstrate, and he hilariously declares himself the greatest Chicago Bull of all time.
The second installment of the series stars Landon Donovan, the Los Angeles Galaxy star who is Major League Soccer’s all-time leading scorer and an American hero from the United States men’s national team. Though he somehow was left off the 2014 World Cup team, and in the ad he runs into Harden at a party.
Harden asks him about the World Cup snub, and Donovan doesn’t know what he is talking about explaining he could never be cut. The snub and premise work well together, and Donovan has done a great job making fun of himself throughout the whole ordeal appearing in multiple ads poking fun at it.
