According to ESPN, the date, time and place in which LeBron James will have his second debut with the Cleveland Cavaliers is being kept under wraps as no one knows who the Cavaliers opponent will be for the big event.
"Due to some last-minute shuffling, sources said, exactly when and where James will launch his second stint as a Cavalier is still being finalized. But sources insist that it will not be in San Antonio, though there was considerable speculation in recent weeks that Cleveland would open the season against the NBA’s reigning champion."
It’s pretty obvious that the debut will come at home in front of the Cleveland faithful, as that’s really the only way this story can start to get wrapped up. LeBron will not be leaving Cleveland again in the future and the beggining of the end of his career is now. That career may go on for another ten years, but the Cavaliers will be who LeBron remains loyal to and the NBA will only get one chance to have him return to Cleveland — and it just has to be at home at Quicken Loans.
