One of the bright spots for the United States men’s national team was DeAndre Yedlin. As of right now, the young Yedlin plays for the Seattle Sounders of Major League Soccer.
But not for much longer, ESPN’s Taylor Twellman is reporting that Yeldin’s transfer to English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur is done and finalized for a $4 million figure.

The good news for the Sounders is that Yedlin will finish his season in the MLS before making the jump. While in the long run it might not be the best for the Sounders, it certainly is exciting news for United States men’s national team fans.
By Yedlin making to the move to the Premier League, he will gain exposure and experience in one of the world’s best leagues against some of the world’s best talent. All that experience will help the USMNT when he plays in the long run, much like Clint Dempsey, Tim Howard and Michael Bradley’s overseas experience benefited them.
