For the first time since brutally injuring himself on national television during the Team USA scrimmage, Indiana Pacers superstar Paul George will speak publicly to the media on Friday afternoon per Scott Agness.

More from Indiana Pacers

From Vigilant Sports:

"Pacers swingman Paul George is scheduled to address the media on Friday at 2 p.m. ET at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. It’ll be his first public comments since suffering an open tibia-fibula fracture during a USA Basketball Scrimmage in Las Vegas on Aug. 1.And it most certainly will be picked up by NBA TV and ESPN."

While George has made it known via social media that he is well, both mentally and physically, hearing him speak out for the first time since breaking his league against the stanchion in Las Vegas following a block attempt on teammate James Harden will do good for the public being.

As he’ll speak on his health, what’s to come in the future and how he’s feeling, Paul George will also speak on the spur of the moment jersey changing, shifting from 24 to the number 13. By doing so, many predict George is dong so to claim a popular nickname as fans will refer to him as “PG-13” from now on.

Regardless of what George wants to speak about, his presence delivers a good feeling considering what he went through that forced him to this point.
