With the recent string of injuries and players pulling out of their Team USA obligations, it was just another reason for concern for Coach K and his squad. It was just the first practice since Indiana Pacers star Paul George suffered a gruesome leg injury that ended his season.
However, it appears to be nothing serious.
According to Marc Spears of Yahoo Sports, an MRI showed that the Sacramento star has no structural damage in his injured knee.
Cousins is listed as day-to-day.
That noise you now hear is Team USA, the Sacramento Kings and their fans breathing a collective sigh of relief.
