Just a day after Oakland Raiders owner Mark Davis stated that the team would be “well received” had they ever chosen to move back to Los Angeles, an ESPN SportsNation poll depicts 63% of fans believing that the team will be leaving Oakland.

All 50 states unanimously agree that the Raiders will be leaving Oakland in the next several years. The destination? Considering the team used to inhabit Los Angeles, you can bet that city is top on their list.

More from Las Vegas Raiders

Every year there are rumors that an NFL team will move out to Los Angeles, but thus far it has only been speculation. The NFL has not had a team in Los Angeles since 1995, when both the Rams and Raiders left the city for St. Louis and Oakland respectively.

The Raiders have a wonderful history in Los Angeles, winning Super Bowl 18 against the Washington Redskins by a score of 38-9 in the 1983 season. In Oakland, the team lost their only Super Bowl bid against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2002.

Football fans in Los Angeles largely remain Raiders fans, and you can bet that if they were to return to Los Angeles it would be to a heroes welcome. Although Oakland fans do not have to fret for at least this NFL season, the possibility of the team moving out to Los Angeles is becoming more and more of a reality as everyday passes.
