Eagles RB Henry Josey scores amazing first NFL touchdown vs. Patriots (GIF)

There are always certain players that you root for to do well in the NFL for one reason or another, and Eagles rookie running back Henry Josey is one of those players. And on Friday night in the team’s second preseason game of the season against the New England Patriots, Josey found the end zone for the first time in his career, and in amazing fashion.
With time running out in the third quarter, Josey took a Matt Barkley pass out of the backfield, and it seemed as if he would be dead to rights. Well watch in the video below as Josey tightropes the sideline to make something out of nothing, and bring the Eagles to within seven points.
Now that is definitely one way that you, as a rookie, can impress the coaching staff and show them you deserve a spot on the roster. More importantly, moves like that show Chip Kelly that you deserve a spot in his offense.

Following a horrific injury that derailed his 2012 season, Josey was one of the more prolific backs in college football last season as he led Missouri to an SEC East Championship and subsequent appearance in the conference title game. After that 2012 injury, there were some that thought he would never play football again.
Well, he is playing football, and he’s making plays at the highest level.
