Indiana Pacers suggested Paul George give away uniforms

The Indiana Pacers are trying to deal with life knowing that Paul George won’t be an active part of it, but that’s something that isn’t all that bad in that others are benefiting from George even though he’s not on the court.

In addition to making headlines for almost snapping his ankle off this summer, George made the announcement that he’s changing his jersey number to No. 13 to allow for the nickname PG13 to be possible, but in doing so all the remaining No. 24 jerseys had to be purchased and taken off the marketplace.
George noted in his press conference that the Indiana Pacers were the ones who approached him about giving away the 700 jerseys he had to buy and he instantly thought of his old high school.
It was a cool moment that proved just how far back George’s roots go, and it was a special moment that made us forget about the injury George suffered and reminded us of how generous he can be and why his injury is painful on more than one level.
