LeBron James is really committed to the no-carb diet that has allowed him to slim down this offseason, some would say to an alarming degree. LeBron is so mad-disciplined when it comes to staying off the carbs that he even turns down specially-made free desserts.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

How does he have so much self-control? I don’t know. But during his vacation time in Greece, LeBron was offered a special delicious-looking cake at a restaurant, and he had to regretfully refuse the gift.

LeBron showed us the beautiful little cake via Instagram with the caption: “Thank you #Nammos Mykonos for the dessert gesture. To dang on bad I can’t eat it! Grrrrrrrrrr!! Smh. #ButIWantItThough #AlmostAtTheFinishLine”

Oh come on LeBron, just eat the cake. One little cake is going to mess up your diet? That guy made it for you special. He even put “King Rules” on the plate. You probably broke that guy’s heart by not eating his cake.

I feel bad for the guy who made the cake, but at the same time I can’t help admiring LeBron’s discipline. He really really wants to stick to his diet. He has a target and he’s not going to let anything sway him. Not even a delicious looking free cake with an adorable tiny crown on it.
